剣先のように急峻な岩峰、八剣山

札幌市南部に有る山。正式名称は観音岩山と言い、山体の特徴を取って八剣山と呼称される。鋭角的で存在感有る山頂から風景からは険しい登山道が想像出来るも、一時間足らずで登頂できハイキングスポットとして親しまれている場所。麓にはワイナリーや果樹園が広がり、シーズン中は多くの観光客で賑わう。

Hakkenzan, a rocky peak as steep as the tip of a sword

This mountain is located in the southern part of Sapporo City. Its official name is Kannon-Iwa, and it is also called Hakkenzan after its distinctive mountain body. Although the sharply angled summit of the mountain’s peak suggests a steep trail, the summit can be reached in less than an hour, making it a popular hiking spot. At the foot of the mountain are wineries and orchards, which attract many tourists during the season.
